Start your morning in a positive way. Read your bible, bible app, devotions, or inspirational book.
Do not let the business of shopping, cooking, parties, wrapping gifts, etc… steal the real meaning of Christmas. When you feel like you are getting overwhelmed take time to refocus on the true meaning of this holy season.
With the kids out of school, keep your family daily routines. It will help keep everyone on schedule.
Pre plan and pack healthy snacks for your. It will keep your sugar levels balanced, keep your energy up, and avoid impulse stops for fast food.
Don’t miss out on family gatherings just to avoid those certain difficult family members. Show up, enjoy yourself, decide not to let anyone steal your joy, and have a code word with your significant other that it’s time to go!
Keep your daily workout routine or start one instead of waiting for January. If nothing else, just move by taking a walk outside.
Get out and see your local attractions like holiday lights, parades, etc… Gets you in the spirit!
Take time out for yourself by taking a relaxing bubble bath with candles, read a book while sipping hot herbal tea, journal, or get a mani/pedi or massage-you are worth it!
Remember that others may be more stressed this week, so it’s okay to let little things go! Show grace, love, and forgiveness. Those are gifts without a price tag
If you have a bad day, speak out loud 3 things that you are grateful for. Call, text, send a card with heartfelt words to let someone know how they have made a difference in your life this year.
If you feel you need some life coaching in this area, please contact me. I usually only do 3 month commitments, but I am doing hourly one-on-one sessions for specific needs until Dec. 31. I help coach people through difficult issues to guide them in discovering next steps to take towards their goal in less amount of time than if they were to do it on their own.
Or know that there are supplements that can help and I highly recommend Oasis (adapt to physical and other sources of stress, antioxidants, polyphenols and anti-inflammatory properties, immune and cognitive support, contains B vitamins for energy and immune support) and Clearmood (Brightens mood, support for relaxation & Helps ease the effects of stress and worry)
