5 Health Tips You Can Do As A Family This Week!

As a trainer, nutrition advisor, and health coach who really enjoys good food, I have learned to use food as my fuel instead of using it as my emotional filler.
Yes, it has taken years of education and action to get to where I am today. The best result from my new healthy lifestyle is that it has changed the eating habits for my children and the healthy way we eat daily is normal for them and better yet- healthy living will be a part of life for my future grandchildren and so on.
So, when you join this journey with me as your health coach it will not just change your life, but it will change the legacy of your family! Isn’t that an empowering thought? This is not the reason I made the changes, but the effect of making them and it can be yours too!
5 Healthy Tips to Incorporate In Your Home This Week:
Start your day with drinking warm water with lemon.
Always eat breakfast within one hour of waking up. Eat protein and veggies, steel cut oats, 100% whole wheat toast, & fruit.(Avoid bagels, cereal, donuts, pancakes, fatty sausages/meats, fruit juices, fried foods, etc.)
Drink half your weight in water daily. Each has their special water bottle they pick out!(Ex: If you weigh 160 lbs.= Drink at least 80 ounces of water)*When you drink coffee, soda, caffeine you will need to add 16-24 more oz of water per serving
Eat 5 small meals each day or 3 meals and 2 snacks. (Plan & Prepare the night before)
Move your body! Do something together as a family that you all enjoy: bike riding, tennis, swimming, hiking, walk your dog, run, or dance!
Journal how you do each day for one week and let me know how it goes. I really want to know. You can do it! I believe in you! Your family needs you!
